This is a Full time, benefited Lead OR RN position at the Ambulatory surgery center (Ximed) at La Jolla Memorial hospital. It is has an 8 hour day shift. No weekends, holidays or call. Join our Ambulatory Surgery Department team as a Lead Registered Nurse (RN) at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla. You will:Provides direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision. Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.California Registered Nurse LicenseOne (1) year of recent surgery or operating room RN experience Current American Heart Association BLS provider certificationCurrent American Heart Association ACLS provider certificationMust be able to speak, read and follow instructions in EnglishMust be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.
