Baptist Health Imaging, where compassionate care meets advanced imaging and treatment. Our Imaging Department encompasses multiple services including Computed Tomography, Diagnostic X-Ray, Interventional Radiology, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT Imaging, and Ultrasound. We pride ourselves on our state-of-the-art equipment as well as accessibility and providing services throughout the community, including surrounding areas. Our team works closely with other departments such as surgery and oncology to provide the best care for all patients. Key Responsibilities:
Provide patient-centered nursing care focusing on healing and wellness.
Respect the dignity, uniqueness, and holistic needs of each patient (mind, body, spirit).
Practice based on evidence, research, policies, procedures, and professional guidelines.
Use critical thinking, creativity, and all phases of the nursing process in clinical decision-making.
Promote nursing excellence through collaborative relationships with nursing and other healthcare disciplines.
Serve as a model of compassion, empathy, and respect in the nursing profession.
Provide direct patient care (>50% of time) through:
Nursing rounds, assessments, and treatments.
Facilitating admissions, transfers, and discharges.
Patient and family-centered education.
Care coordination and individualized treatment planning.
Requirements:
Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.
Bachelor’s degree in nursing or associate’s degree with 10+ years of experience.
If hired with an associate’s degree, must enroll in a BSN program within 12 months and complete it within 5 years.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
ACLS/PALS/NRP certification (as required by the department).
Successful completion of dysrhythmia class (as required).
