90% FTE, 12 hour day/evening shift, Friday, Saturday and Sunday shift and includes holidays. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to:

  • Provide comprehensive care for surgical patients who may also have underlying medical problems.
  • Develop a therapeutic relationship by establishing trust and enabling the patient and/or family to verbalize the requirements for care comfortably.

Education

Preferred – BSN

Work Experience

Minimum – Six (6) months of current independent PACU, Emergency Department or Surgical Critical Care, Surgical ICU or Surgical IMC experience.

Preferred – Three (3) years current PACU experience with demonstrated success in meeting PACU competencies.

Licenses and Certifications

Minimum – Registration as a professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin, CPR certification and ACLS certification.
