About Hospice of Northwest Ohio

Hospice of Northwest Ohio served its first patients in 1981 and is the Toledo area's largest provider of hospice care. A non-profit, community-based organization, we are the only local agency solely dedicated to caring for the terminally ill. In 2015, we served more than 2,500 patients and their families in their own homes, in nursing homes and at our freestanding Hospice Centers. We are Joint Commission accredited and Medicare/Medicaid certified. No one is ever turned away due to inability to pay.

Our mission: Hospice of Northwest Ohio provides specialized medical, emotional and spiritual care to people of all ages--and their families--living with any end-stage illness in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. Equally important, we also provide support and education to their families and caregivers.
