Outpatient/Infusion Therapy RN opportunity in beautiful Hamilton, Montana!!
Bitterroot Health is seeking candidates to fill an Outpatient/Infusion Therapy Registered Nurse position. The Outpatient/Infusion Therapy RN provides professional nursing care to assigned patients in need of intravenous and other outpatient treatments such as simple wound care, catheter care, blood transfusions, etc. Administers intravenous therapeutic treatments as directed by a medical provider. Observes patients' treatment and records observations in patient medical records. Outpatient/Infusion Therapy provides information to patients and families regarding treatment and procedures. Will require Chemotherapy certification as an infusion nurse within one year. Will work with Wound Care Nurse to cover responsibilities for Wound Care when needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Education: Graduate of accredited school of nursing
• Licensures, Certifications, Registrations: Current Montana Registered Nurse License, BCLS required. ACLS within one year of hire, PALS, ONS chemotherapy/biotherapy certified or within one year of hire
• Job Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Basic computer skills
• Experience: Wound Care experience preferred.
Schedule: PRN, as needed
