Nights 7P - 7A (United States of America)The RN Float ICU provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. The Float Pool provides support to our inpatient units including our Intensive Care units and Complex Medical Trauma units. Float pool staffing provides a crucial service for our customers, not only to ensure safe quality patient care, but provides support for our unit colleagues as well. You will be offered opportunities to expand your knowledge and maintain an expansive skill set with a variety of patients throughout the facility that will enable you to become a resource to others.
Required Qualifications
*Active Kentucky registered nurse license or compact license with privileges to work in Kentucky
*Associate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university
*Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
*Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
*Minimum of two (2) years of RN experience in ICU areas
*All new-hire associate degree registered nurses are required to start an approved BSN program within one (1) year of hire and complete an approved BSN program within three (3) years of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
*Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university
