Job Title: Registered Nurse — Emergency Room

Location: Clinton, Iowa 52732 — On-site

Pay: $59.62 per hour

Type: Contract | On-site

Department: Emergency Department

Shift: 19:00 - 07:30, 3 Days/12 Hours, 36 Hours per week

Note: Non-local candidates only. Candidate must reside at least 60 miles from the facility.

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, fast-paced patient care in an acute care emergency setting. The ER RN will assess, triage, and treat patients presenting with a wide range of conditions, working collaboratively with physicians, specialists, and ancillary staff to deliver timely and effective care.

Key Responsibilities

• Triage and assess patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on acuity
• Initiate and manage emergency interventions including IV access, medication administration, and cardiac monitoring
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and execute individualized care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care team members
• Respond to trauma activations, rapid deterioration, and code situations

Requirements

• Active, unencumbered RN license in Iowa or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of emergency department nursing experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; TNCC preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility — local candidates will not be considered
