The Role:


As the Director of Nursing, you will lead and oversee all clinical operations, ensuring the highest standards of care and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing leadership for clinical services and nursing staff
  • Balancing hands-on resident care with administrative oversight
  • Recruiting, hiring, training, and mentoring a high-performing team
  • Managing employee health programs (TB testing, physicals, drug screenings)
  • Developing and implementing staffing plans based on resident needs
  • Ensuring compliance with South Carolina Department of Health regulations
  • Leading quality improvement initiatives and maintaining licensure standards
  • Supporting and promoting survey readiness and regulatory processes
  • Partnering in the Vital Living Program to enhance resident quality of life

What You Bring as a Director of Nursing:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina
  • Current CPR certification
  • 2+ years of clinical supervisory or leadership experience in a healthcare setting
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and quality standards
  • Experience with electronic medical records ( PointClickCare preferred)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills
