Your Everyday

Assistwith the coordination, development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical education.

Serve as a resource to nursing staff, nursing students, and other healthcare personnel providing direction, priority-setting, clinicaldecision-makingand critical thinking.

Collaborate withDepartmentof Nursing Education & Professional Development and unit department director/manager to oversee clinical training and patient safety initiatives.

Utilize advanced concepts in the areas of assessments, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of perceived, actual, or potential problems that occur in a variety of patient populations.

Provide clinicalexpertisethat supports clinical competency and new clinical practices, while reinforcing current practices and processes.

Collaborate with clinical and healthcare teams to ensure clinician performance meets established evidence-based standards, patientsafetyand quality standards.

Demonstrate effective leadership: acting with vision and purpose, fostering teamwork, and communicating effectively and openly.

Use and support evidence-based practices and research in all educational initiatives.researchactivities and quality improvement initiatives.

Act as a change agent by introducing and embracingnew ideasand communicating the vision for the change.

Demonstrate energy, excitement, and a passion for quality work.

The Must-Haves

Minimum:

Current nursing license to practice in Louisiana and as defined by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing.

Threeyearsclinical experience.

Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
