The RMG RN Clinical Education and Training Coordinator functions under the direction of the Nurse Executive. This individual is responsible for the development and implementation of efficient and effective programs for competency validation, continuing education, workforce development and patient education. Programs are based on the principles of evidenced based practice and adult learning. This individual is responsible for collaborating with practice leaders and practice directors to achieve best practices, educational excellence and implementation of current RMG and health system initiatives. This individual demonstrates the clinical expertise to provide appropriate care to various patient populations and specialties and serves as an educational resource to the interdisciplinary patient care team. Facilitates leadership growth and mentorship to RMG Clinical Coordinators. Responsible for training preceptors and provides coordination for new hires with appropriate preceptors within the practices. Participates in Environment of Care (EOC) rounds to ensure compliance with DNV standards.
