RN Clinic - Vein Clinic - Carmel Valley-262005051

This is a benefited, full time position generally working Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm. Hours will vary as needed. No weekends or holidays. Located at Scripps Clinic Carmel Valley but may travel to other sites as needed.

What you'll do:

  • Perform sclerotherapy and ECA procedures.
  • Assist with in-office procedures including VenaSeal, RFA & Varithena.
  • Work as part of a team with providers, nurses, sonographers and medical assistants to collaborate with patient care.
  • Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.
  • Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.
  • Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration.
  • Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:

  • ADN or Nursing Diploma

Required Certification/Registration:

  • Current BLS through American Heart Association
  • Current CA RN License

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:

  • BSN
  • 1 year RN experience
  • Outpatient Clinic experience
  • Vein Clinic experience
  • Experience in a fast-paced outpatient care setting (urgent care, emergency department, dermatology, cosmetic/plastics, etc)
  • Excellent IV skills
