This is a per diem/casual, non-benefited position generally working varied weekdays from 0730-1600. Training will ideally be Monday-Friday from 0730-1600 for about two weeks. Hours will vary as needed. Located at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla. What you'll do: This position is ~30% direct patient care and ~70% administrative (patient phone calls, order entry, coordination with breast center staff)Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration. Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.Must be compassionate and empathetic.
Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:ADN or Nursing Diploma Required Certification/Registration:CA RN licenseBLS through the American Heart Association Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:BSN1+ years of RN experienceClinic/outpatient RN experienceMRI imaging experienceMRI-guided breast biopsy experienceExperience working in breast care women's health centers
