Stoughton Health has an excellent opportunity for an RN Charge Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit on a Full-Time basis.
Registered Nurse is responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients in assigned ICU critical care unit. The registered nurse position is responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients in assigned units. The registered nurse maintains accountability for his/her own practice and delegates/provides direction to other nursing personnel in the unit in accordance with their level of experience and expertise

Essential Functions:

• Ability to perform essential functions of a Registered Nurse including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, and evaluation
• Effectively enhances the quality and effectiveness of nursing practices
• Maintains knowledge and competency that reflects current nursing practices
• Interacts with and contributes to the professional development of peers and colleagues
• Collaborates with patient, family, and others in the conduct of nursing practice
• Integrates research findings into clinical practice

Position Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing
• Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing
• Currently licensed by the Board of Licensing and Regulation in the State of Wisconsin as a Registered Nurse in good standing
• Current BLS certification at hire
• Non-violent crisis intervention or workplace violence training every two years on a rolling calendar
• Computer Competency: Basic Computer Skills are expected for this position
• Microsoft Office Suite Skills: Beginning Skills – Able to perform basic things such as opening a document, change font, save a document, write a letter.

Work Shift:

• Full-Time, .9 FTE
• 32 - 40 hours per week
• Scheduled Days: Variable
• Scheduled Shift: 7:00 am - 7:30 pm
• Weekends - Occasional
• Every 3rd Holiday
