
Responsible for the overall direction and supervision of all nursing department personnel during shift. Ensures patient assignments are correct, assists with treatments or administration of medications as necessary, informs physicians of changes in patient's condition, reviews care of all patients, and acts as overall leader and resource person for the staff.
Education/Experience:
Current RN license to practice in state of employment.
Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience, 2 years preferred.
Computer Skills:
Knowledge of basic computer skills and word processing.
Certificates and Licenses:
Current RN license to practice by the state of employmentMust have BLS upon hire or 6 weeks from hire date and obtain ACLS certification within 90 days of employment. Must maintain licenses and certification for the duration of employment.
