Job Description

1. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.

2. Assist physician in the catheterization, angioplasty and pacemaker implantations processes and other procedures as applicable.

3. Keep patient calm and relaxed during procedure where they’re required to be awake.

4. Administer appropriate medicine as applicable.

5. Perform proper after procedure care.

1. Check vital signs of the patient with proper care.

7. Provide education about medications and care to the patients and families before the discharge.

8. Provides patient care as part of a multi-disciplinary team based on national standards, and utilizing the nursing process.

9. Delivery of specialized nursing care in all phases of the Cardiovascular Laboratory.

1. Performs general nursing duties in all patient care areas under the guide lines of department policy and procedures.

1. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.

1. Provides direct patient care in the Cardiac Cath lab setting.

1. Provides assessment and planning for individualized patient care.
