RN Case Manager - Emergency Department - Nights - 7p-7aCoordinates comprehensive care for ER patients to ensure seamless, cost-effective, and high-quality care delivery. Leads a multidisciplinary team in providing quality care to a designated patient population and their families. Evaluates patients for appropriateness of care and medical necessity, assesses and coordinates efforts to meet resource management goals, enhances patient outcomes, and monitors the cost-effectiveness of care. Performs all duties in accordance with the medical center’s mission, vision, and purpose.
Education and Experience Required:
One (1) year of nursing experience in an inpatient setting.
Certifications, Licenses, or Registration required:
Valid RN license
Preferred Qualifications:
RN case management certification preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge and understanding of patient care for a specified population. Verbal and written communication skills. Interpersonal skills. Knowledge and understanding of computer systems.
