Schedule: 72 hours per 2-week pay period | 12-hour night shifts
Location: Scripps Memorial La JollaThis position is eligible for New Hire and Relocation Incentives up to $7K .CVICU specializes in caring for acute patients with a variety of disease states. As a destination center for higher level of cardiac care in Southern California, CVICU implements progressive programs and therapies. As a member of our team, you will gain experience in:Cardiac surgeryHeart failure, shock, advanced resuscitation measuresMechanical circulatory supportECMO, LVAD, Impella, Tandem Heart, IABP, CRRTThe RN is responsible for providing direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice, focusing on Cardiac Diagnosis. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. They will work collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.The ideal candidate will have one year of adult ICU experience, is committed to elevating their professional practice, and seeks to collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
