  Knowledge of cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures

  Provide nursing care for cardiothoracic surgical procedures
• 
  Circulate and/or scrub during cardiac and thoracic surgeries
• 
  Prepare and position patients for surgery
• 
  Maintain sterile field and ensure surgical safety standards
• 
  Monitor patient status and assist with intraoperative care
• 
  Manage surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies
• 
  Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and OR team
• 
  Document intraoperative care in the EMR
