With 3-4:1 Nurse to Patient Ratios, our cohesive care teams work effectively and offer staff a sense of a home.RNs provide inpatient care of bone marrow transplants, organ transplants, and hematologic cancer patients, administer chemotherapy, blood products, stem cells and CAR-T cells, anticipate and manage side effects related to treatment, provide patient/caregiver education.About the unit:Nurses love working in BMT because it truly feels like a close-knit family. The culture is supportive and welcoming, and staff genuinely enjoy helping one another. One of the most meaningful moments for the team is celebrating alongside patients - especially watching them ring the bell when they complete their transplants or treatments.
Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certifications:Current CA RN LicenseCurrent American Heart Association BLSRegistered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursingOne year RN experienceMust be able to speak, read and follow instructions in EnglishExcellent interpersonal skills. Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviorsPreferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certifications:Bachelor's degree in nursingPrevious RN experience in Oncology/BMTPrevious chemo experience preferred.
