Atrium Health Neurology Specialty Care is an outpatient adult subspecialty neurology practice located in Charlotte, NC. We have 3 different neurologic specialty clinics within our practice including our Stroke Program, our Parkinson's and Movement Disorders Program, and our Neuromuscular Program. Additionally, our Neurology Resident Continuity Clinic is located at this facility. Our multi-disciplinary team is composed of nurses, medical assistants, physicians, advanced practice providers, social workers, dietitians, speech therapists, respiratory therapists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team . Ideal nursing candidates demonstrate a strong commitment to service excellence, nursing excellence, and adaptability.
· Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
· Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
· Current BLS certification
· Minimum 1 year of nursing experience preferred
· Prior Neurology and phone triage experience preferred
** Hiring for 2 slightly different roles
One RN to work mostly in the Parkinsons's and Movement Disorders
clinic.
One RN to work in various programs in the subspecialty clinic.
Both roles have the same basic scope:
· Phone triage
· Rooming patients/assisting in clinic
· Medication refills/authorizations
· Form completion
· Patient education
