• Location: 1625 Hospital Drive, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464
• Status: Full Time
• Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:30am-4:30pm. No weekends, no major holidays. No call.

What You'll Do

• Deliver high-quality patient care in the perioperative environment, ensuring strict adherence to safety standards and facility protocols.
• Serve as the primary patient advocate during surgical procedures, continuously monitoring patient status and maintaining optimal OR conditions.
• Maintain a meticulous sterile field and apply strict aseptic techniques throughout all surgical interventions to minimize infection risks.
• Perform thorough and accurate surgical counts (sponges, sharps, and instruments) in collaboration with the surgical team.

What We're Looking For

• Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, required. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
• Experience: One year of ASC, PACU or operating room experience, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: RN License in Appropriate State, required. ACLS and PALS, preferred.
• Additional Skills (required): Must have a thorough understanding of role of RN and the ability to carry out the functions as stated in the appropriate relevant state nurse practice act. Ability to set priorities and organize workload of unit. Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to patient’s age. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to age specific needs. Proficient in telephone screening and interviewing skills.
