
The Ambulatory Telephone Triage Nurse plays a crucial role in providing timely and efficient healthcare support to patients by telephone. The Telephone triage nurse provides timely and accurate assessment of a patient’s symptoms and utilizes critical thinking, nursing judgement, and approved decision support tools to provide appropriate nursing advice and determine the level of care required. This is a hybrid remote position that requires a minimum of one on-site shift per week. RNs must meet all eligibility criteria prior to transitioning to hybrid remote status.
Education:
Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program – Required
Bachelor's Degree Nursing - Preferred
Experience:
1 Year Acute Care Hospital - Preferred
1 Year Ambulatory, triage, or medical office experience - Preferred
1 Year Telephone Triage – Preferred
Certifications/Licensures:
RN Registered Nursing - California Board of Nursing - Required
BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association – Required
