As our RMW Process Leader, you lead process management and improvements throughout the production facilities. To play a key role in process development activities whilst conforming to the all Health, Safety, Environmental, Energy and Quality requirements.
What you’ll be doing…
To monitor the processes across the site and work with the plant teams to ensure that compliant product is manufactured at lowest cost.
To ensure that the production team carry out their duties in a safe and effective manner and to support their training needs.
To ensure that the melting technology is operating efficiently and within standardize parameters
To improve the site knowledge and database for enhanced understanding of the manufacturing processes by training and work instructions, ensure that this knowledge is communicated and understood by production team
Utilise process data to improve the manufacturing processes
Identify any process / equipment issues – communicate with maintenance department to ensure any faults are managed and rectified
Use quality and production data to identify areas for improvement and standardization to ensure compliance at all times
Lead product and process development to maximise the success of new product / processes and material trials
Undertake process trials to optimize process and manufacturing setting and procedures
Benchmark performance against other similar manufacturing sites within the group and implement any changes required
Contribute to the technical specification of the product and raw materials to ensure that quality standards are maintained and improved
Monitor energy consumption and ensure that equipment is operating at the minimum energy consumption for the process
To liaise with central product and process development department to maximise the success of new product/process trials, including implementing new processes.

Degree in a science or engineering subject
Successful track record of value added and cost reduction initiatives
Experience in technical and production process management
Continuous Improvement project experience
Strong IT and database skills
Good problem solving skills
Good communication skills
