Revelstoke Mountain Resort (RMR) is a division of Canada’s largest privately held hospitality company, Northland Properties Corporation (NPC), and since its inception in 2007, we have gained a reputation for big mountain riding, legendary powder and an authentic Canadian resort town.
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Mountain Bike Trail Crew Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating heavy equipment building bike trails, primarily mini excavators.
Essential Job Functions
• Understanding of bike trail maintenance.
• Basic daily maintenance of operating equipment.
• Convey any maintenance concerns to the Slopes Manager
• Maintain and build bike trails both using equipment and by hand
• Follow site-specific protocols and communicate effectively with team members.
Required Qualifications and Abilities
• A minimum of 1 years operator experience.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada, can provide SIN documentation
• Must have a valid Driver’s License (Driver’s abstract required.)
• Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Must have the attention span to maintain constant focus on tasks.
• Must be able to work in potentially hazardous environment with exposure to variety of physical and environmental conditions.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed
