The job of the Lift Maintenance Electrical Journeyman is to maintain, overhaul and repair all electrical components
on lifts and facilities at the resort as required.
Essential Job Functions
• Be familiar with the operation of the controls and safety systems for all lifts.
• Inspect, repair and maintain the electrical systems of the lift and facilities
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in control systems of lifts.
• Assist with planning and performance of preventive maintenance activities.
• Perform all needed electrical maintenance for the functional parts of lifts and associated resort buildings
• Report to the supervisor, any maintenance activities performed.
• Provide detailed documentation of all work performed.
• Advise supervisor of needed parts or supplies.
• Assist with training programs as required.
• Ensure that all related activities are conducted in a safe manner through sound judgment and knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines.
Required Qualifications and Abilities
• Preferred Journeyman Electrical Ticket (BC or Red Seal) or equivalent
• Knowledge of electrical control circuits
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Must be able to, or be able to learn to, drive snowmobiles and ATV’s.
• Must possess ability to perform physical activities that include climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling and hearing.
• Must be able to work in all winter weather conditions for extended periods.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
