The position provides supervisory leadership of the daily operations for the Raw Materials Inventory (RMI) and materials inbound processes which delivers and warehouse raw materials in a safe, efficient, accurate and timely manner based on the established metrics and in accordance with planning and production expectations.
Campari’s business in Jamaica is an integrated operation, beginning with the production of the distillate, blending, bottling and ending with the sale and distribution of the finished product for local and export markets. This makes it one of the most diverse and complex entities within the Campari Group.
The Raw Materials Inventory Department has overall responsibility for managing the Packaging and Raw Materials Inventory. The warehousing functions, supervised by the Team Leader and under the guidance of the RMI Manager, controls all system, documentation, inventory management and materials receiving and issuing activities. The function has a significant impact on the profitability of the business in areas such as cash flow, cost and customer satisfaction.
The mission of the position is to effectively manage the Customs clearance, Warehousing Processes and the Raw Materials inventory to support cost reduction in all areas managed, minimize stock loss and inventory anomalies in addition to increasing customer satisfaction by ensuring scheduled production.
