Job Purpose:
The RMA Service Operator is responsible for managing the end-to-end Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process, including warranty validation, repair handling, logistics activities, and administrative support. The role ensures accurate processing, timely communication with customers and vendors, and efficient warehouse operations.
Accountabilities:
Verify warranty status of returned products
Request RMA approvals from OEMs/vendors
Register and track RMA cases in internal systems
Ensure correct documentation and compliance with vendor requirements
Request repair quotes from vendors/OEMs
Review, validate, and communicate repair quotes to customers
Obtain customer approval and proceed with repair orders
Monitor repair progress and follow up when required
Perform order picking for outgoing shipments
Prepare and pack goods according to shipping standards
Process incoming goods (receiving, inspection, booking)
Handle shipping activities (labeling, documentation, dispatch)
Support general warehouse operations and stock handling
Book incoming receipts into the system accurately
Maintain and update RMA and repair status records
Send periodic reports to repair vendors/OEMs
Provide customers with status updates and required details
Ensure proper filing and traceability of all transactions
