Shape the future of resource consenting in Auckland!
Auckland Council is preparing for significant reform of the resource management system, including the transition to a new legislative framework and changes to Council’s role in consenting and how decisions about development are made.
We are seeking an experienced change Delivery Lead with RMA experience to drive the Resource Consents Group’s readiness—ensuring our consenting functions can continue to effectively operate within NZ’s evolving framework including changes brought under the pending Planning and Natural Environment bills.
Reporting to the Head of Resource Consents, you will lead a 12-month programme to prepare our consenting teams for legislative and system change, working with Council’s Planning Policy, legal, compliance teams, elected members, and other external stakeholders.
