Job Description

Job Purpose

• To research and issue all customer requests for material return; coordinate returns to vendors

Essential Job Duties

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all customer service inquiries related to RMAs, RTVAs, and returns.
• Process and issue customer credits and vendor debits in a timely and accurate manner.
• Verify all available information to ensure the returned product matches product shipped to/from Smith and Associates.
• Respond to accounting inquiries and provide supporting documentation as needed.
• Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly RMA/RTVA reports
• Track return material movement and ensure proper documentation is maintained for audits and internal controls.
• Assist with routine and scheduled cycle counts to validate stock accuracy.
• Utilize internal databases to ensure physical inventory aligns with system-recorded locations and quantities.
• Collaborate with Inventory, Receiving, Logistics, QC , Accounting, Legal and other departments to support day‑to‑day activities.
• Provide backup support for other functions within the Operations team as needed.

Experience

• At least 2 years of proven warehouse experience in an all-around role, specifically within the electronics or IT parts industry.
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to detect physical defects in components.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• The ability to lift up to 15kg.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, is a plus.
• Knowledge of the electronics distribution field is a bonus.
