
CREC is expanding its team of Registered Nurses in our River Street Autism Program in Bloomfield We are currently seeking a full time licensed RN to facilitate and strengthen the educational process by improving and protecting the health status of children and by identifying and assisting in the removal or modification of health-related barriers to the learning process for each child. The right candidate will be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below. All year long position with benefits vacaction and sick time.
Education: Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing ADN, Diploma, or BSN. Bachelors preferred.
Licensure: RN Connecticut license.
Experience: 2 years nursing experience in a school setting is preferred.
Other Job Requirements:
Ability to communicate appropriately with students, parents, school staff, and CREC staff is required. Demonstration of interpersonal skills necessary for communication with media, visitors, and community partnership representatives required.
