Our Risk Services Practice provides an invaluable safeguard in today’s complex operating environment with insights and independent assurance. We work with clients to deliver business control to help themto protectand strengthen every aspect of theirbusinessfrom people to performance, systems to strategy, business plans to business resilience. We help clients manage,mitigateand control risks from potential cybersecurity breaches topossible breaksin the supply chain. We assess and prepare businesses by looking into their technology, finance, data analytics, regulatory requirements, data security and privacy, internal audit, and the third parties our clients rely on, to help clients deliver quality results and meet their strategicobjectives
Key Responsibilities
As aRegulatory Risk & ComplianceAssociate,you will:
Fuel our growth: Contributing to client proposals and pitches.
Act as a trusted advisor: Guide clients through the maze of regulations issued by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and strengthen their regulatory processes and obligations.
Build strong foundations: Support your managers in developing robust regulatory frameworks, policies,proceduresand their implementation.
Ensure compliance: Design monitoring plans, conduct compliance testing, and devise effective recommendations to improve processes and controls.
Perform vital audits: Conduct regulatory compliance reviews for our financial services audit clients.
Step into our clients' shoes: Seize secondment opportunities to fully understand our clients' needs and operations.
Collaborate globally: Work with diverse PwC teams and offices worldwide to serve our global clients.
Embrace digital transformation: Keep up to date with technology trends in financial services to support the implementation of IT regulatory compliance initiatives. Actively contribute ideas and explore the potential of digital tools to enhance client offerings and internal operations.
What we are looking for
Degree holders from disciplines like Accountancy, Banking and Finance, Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Economics, or Law preferred.
Demonstrable academic achievements.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, coupled with excellent communication abilities.
Sound understanding of banking operations, paymentservicesand Singapore’s regulatory landscape – including the Banking Act, Securities and Futures Act, Financial Advisers Act and MAS guidelines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Keen interest in risk andcontrols,fintechand financial services industry.
Creative thinking and willingness to challenge conventional approaches.
Proficiencyin oral and written communication
An ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
A collaborative mindset and an eagerness to learn
