A boutique advisory firm in Malta is seeking a motivated Risk Senior to join their growing team.
The selected candidate will be managing and monitor risk for MFSA-supervised entities. You will ensure strong risk controls are in place, help improve the risk environment for both the firm and its clients, and carry out ongoing risk monitoring, assessments, and proactive recommendations for improvement.
This is an office-basedrole with a salary up to €39K
Role & Responsibilities
Perform continuous monitoring of risk frameworks and internal controls
Evaluate the effectiveness of risk management processes and propose improvements
Work closely with clients to enhance and strengthen their risk environment
Prepare risk reports and present findings to key stakeholders
Assist in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
Skills & Experience
2+ years of experience in risk management or a related
Risk-related certifications (e.g., FRM, CRMA) are a plus– but practical experience is an advantage
Experience with MFSA-supervised entities – non-negotiable
Fluency in English both written an spoken
Familiarity or previous experience using Scoro
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Copilot is a plus)
Strong understanding of risk frameworks and regulatory requirements
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Analytical with strong problem-solving abilities and excellent time management skills
Keen eye for detail
