Step into the role of Risk Reporting, Analytics & Automation Analyst at Barclays, where you'll provide first-class support by conducting in-depth due diligence, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and safeguarding our clients and organization with expertise and care.
You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in role such as:
Experience across reporting, data analytics, automation and business analysis, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
Strong proficiency in ServiceNow, Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server, with experience designing intuitive, executive-level dashboards and management information.
Advanced Excel and data analysis skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, data modelling and visualization.
Experience in automation and process optimsation, using tools such as Python, Power Automate, Power Apps or similar technologies to streamline reporting and data-driven processes.
Strong SQL skills, with experience extracting, transforming, and analysing data from multiple data sources.
Strong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, process analysis and translating business requirements into scalable data and technology solutions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to identify trends, inconsistencies, data quality issues and opportunities for improvement.
Good understanding of data visualization, data literacy and reporting best practices, with a focus on creating clear and actionable management information.
Experience working with multiple data sources and platforms, such as SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint Online and Enterprise Risk or Workflow Systems.
Minimum qualification – bachelor’s degree.
Desirable Skill Sets:
Excellent communication skills.
Experience developing Tableau dashboards, management reporting, analytics and automation solutions, preferably within financial services, risk & controls, consulting or Big 4 environments.
Experience partnering with senior stakeholders to understand business challenges and independently develop data, reporting or automation solutions.
