This is a remote opportunity for a risk professional focused on protecting users, transactions, and digital platforms from fraudulent activity.
You will work across fraud detection, transaction monitoring, KYC, and enhanced due diligence to identify and investigate potential risks.
The role combines analytical investigation with careful case management and compliance-focused decision-making.
You will review transactional data, identify suspicious patterns, verify customer information, and assess higher-risk cases.
Success requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
You will collaborate closely with colleagues to share findings and strengthen the overall risk-management approach.
Experience in gaming, fintech, payments, or financial services will be particularly valuable.

• Detect and investigate potentially fraudulent accounts using available risk tools, customer information, and transaction data.
• Analyse transaction reports and identify anomalies, behavioural patterns, and indicators of potential fraud or financial risk.
• Process KYC profiles and document alerts, verifying customer information and payment methods in accordance with established policies and best practices.
• Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews for high-risk customers, requesting and assessing additional documentation when required.
• Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and up-to-date case records, ensuring investigations are properly documented, traceable, and ready for internal or external review.
• Assess risk exposure and use investigative findings to support appropriate operational decisions.
• Communicate investigation outcomes and relevant findings clearly to colleagues and collaborate on risk-related cases.
• Contribute to a consistent, coordinated approach to fraud prevention, customer due diligence, and risk management.
• Meet individual productivity, responsiveness, and attendance expectations while maintaining investigation quality and accuracy.

Requirements

• Professional experience in fraud detection, risk operations, AML, compliance, or a closely related field, ideally within gaming, fintech, payments, or financial services.
• Solid understanding of KYC and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) processes, including customer and document verification.
• Knowledge of risk indicators and compliance expectations associated with higher-risk customers.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to review significant volumes of transactional information and identify meaningful patterns or anomalies.
• Excellent attention to detail and a disciplined approach to investigation, documentation, and case management.
• Strong judgment and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess potentially suspicious activity and determine appropriate next steps.
• Clear and confident communication skills, including the ability to present investigation findings to colleagues across different functions.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, operationally focused environment while consistently meeting productivity targets.
• Strong sense of accountability, reliability, and ownership of assigned investigations.
• Familiarity with social casino, iGaming, or payment platforms is considered an advantage.
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment while collaborating effectively with distributed teams.
