We’re looking for a commercially minded Risk Manager to support our business through expert oversight across Financial Crime Compliance, Market Risk, and Specialised Business Services (SBS).

This is a high-impact role whereyou’llpartner closely with senior stakeholders to embed strong risk practices, uplift control environments, and ensure regulatory obligations are consistently met.

A key focus will be financial crime risk, where yourexpertisewill help shape how weidentify, manage, and respond to evolving AML/CFT and regulatory requirements.

  • Providetrusted advice on risk and compliance across Financial Crime, Market Risk and SBS

  • Strengthen controls and support risk uplift across business units

  • Lead risk assessments, incident management, and remediation activity

  • Partner with stakeholders to embed a proactive risk culture

  • Monitor emerging risks, regulatorychangeand financial crime trends

  • Support governance, reporting, and assurance activities

  • Strong financial crime experience across AML/CFT or compliance

  • Background in operational risk,complianceor audit within banking

  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive outcomes

  • Strong understanding of regulatory expectations in NZ and Australia
