Purpose of the job
We have an exciting role with Risk and Compliance for a Risk Manager. This is a role within the Business Assurance team and has multiple stakeholders. You will be responsible for leading risk reviews within the business and supporting the maturity of risk management and operational resilience across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and enhance the enterprise risk management framework in line with best practice
Support risk identification, assessment and evaluation across the business
Facilitate risk reviews and maintain the Risk Register, and its data integrity, within the GRC system
Embed risk management and control practices into day-to-day business activities
Contribute to risk assessments and control testing to assess design and operating effectiveness
Help the organisation strengthen operational resilience, learn from incidents and continuously improve processes and controls
Support Business Impact Analyses where incidents impact critical business services
Build and manage stakeholder relationships, providing constructive risk challenge where appropriate
Monitor emerging risks and regulatory developments
Contribute to clear high visibility risk reporting for senior management, Board and committees
Coordinate risk governance activities, including reporting cycles and forums
Develop risk training, communications and guidance to the business
Support third-party risk management, including due diligence and sanctions screening
Provide risk advisory support to projects, reviews and scenario analysis
Knowledge, skills, and experience required
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Risk, Business Continuity, Audit or similar function
In-depth experience supporting risk assessments, controls and/or risk registers
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain risk clearly to stakeholders
Ability to positively engage across a range of internal senior stakeholders
Strong organisation skills and ability to manage competing priorities
Adaptable and pragmatic approach
Experience preparing reporting for senior stakeholders
Practical experience of Operational resilience, Business Analysis and / or process mapping is desirable
Proficiency in MS Office; experience with GRC tools advantageous
Key clients include Mastercard, American Express, Cathay Pacific, British Airways, LATAM, Flying Blue, Accor, EasyJet, HSBC, Chase, HDFC.
