Job Description

Play a visible role in keeping risk governance and regulatory deliverables running smoothly across a busy operating environment. This role offers exposure to risk governance frameworks, recurring reporting cycles and senior stakeholder interactions. You will be trusted with high-quality documentation, coordination and follow-through that directly supports the control environment. It is a strong opportunity to build practical risk and governance capability while partnering closely with Risk, Compliance and Legal.

As a Risk Management Professional in Risk, you will support the execution of local risk governance, regulatory reporting and monitoring activities. You will coordinate recurring deliverables, maintain documentation and trackers, and ensure materials are complete, consistent and delivered on time. You will work closely with stakeholders across Risk, Compliance and Legal, escalating items that require attention and contributing to continuous improvement as you build knowledge of the entity’s risk profile and regulatory requirements.

Job responsibilities

  • Coordinate risk governance, regulatory reporting and monitoring deliverables, including timelines, inputs and follow-ups
  • Maintain governance documentation, trackers and supporting records across Risk, Compliance and Legal
  • Prepare and consolidate meeting packs and recurring reporting materials, performing completeness and consistency checks
  • Track actions, issues and outstanding items, driving timely closure through proactive stakeholder engagement
  • Escalate items requiring review or decision to the appropriate functional stakeholders
  • Support updates to governance frameworks, procedures and standard templates to improve consistency and efficiency
  • Assist with monitoring activities and evidence collection to support control and oversight requirements
  • Build an understanding of the legal entity’s activities, risk profile and applicable regulatory requirements
  • Support governance forums by coordinating agendas, logistics, minutes and action logs (as required)
  • Partner effectively across functions, ensuring clear communication and aligned priorities
  • Provide ad-hoc support to Risk, Compliance and Legal as reasonably required

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Demonstrated experience coordinating recurring deliverables with multiple deadlines and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience producing high-quality documentation and maintaining trackers/records with strong attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of governance processes, controls, or regulatory reporting/monitoring in a corporate environment
  • Strong organization, reliability, and follow-through, with the ability to prioritize effectively
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging cross-functional stakeholders
  • Sound judgment in identifying when to escalate issues or seek guidance
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word for reporting and materials preparation
  • Ability to work collaboratively and professionally in a fast-paced environment
  • Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn risk and governance concepts quickly

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Experience supporting Risk, Compliance or Legal teams in a regulated financial services environment
  • Experience supporting governance committees, including preparing packs and maintaining action logs
  • Familiarity with regulatory interactions and evidence management for reporting cycles
  • Experience improving processes, templates, or reporting routines to reduce execution risk
  • Experience working in a multi-entity or matrixed regional environment.
