We're Hiring: Risk Director

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Risk Director to lead enterprise risk management across a large-scale project portfolio. This leadership role will be responsible for driving portfolio-wide risk strategies, executive reporting, governance, and mitigation planning across projects at different lifecycle stages.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and enhance the risk management framework, governance, and policies.
• Provide executive-level risk insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
• Oversee portfolio-wide risk identification across schedule, cost, quality, operational, and commercial areas.
• Direct mitigation and contingency planning with project leadership teams.
• Monitor emerging risks, mitigation effectiveness, and escalation processes.
• Lead quantitative risk analysis, scenario planning, and reporting activities.
• Chair risk review meetings and ensure timely closure of critical actions.
• Build organizational risk capability through coaching, awareness, and best practices.
• Prepare executive reports for senior leadership, committees, and board stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 16 years of experience in risk management, project controls, or major project environments.
• Proven experience in a Risk Director / Head of Risk leadership role.
• Strong background managing risks across large-scale multi-project portfolios.
• Experience across project lifecycle phases including design, procurement, construction, testing & commissioning, and operational readiness.
• Strong expertise in quantitative risk methodologies, governance frameworks, and risk reporting tools.

Preferred Certifications

• PMI-RMP, PMP, IRM, or equivalent certifications preferred.
