We are looking for a (Senior) Associate to join theOFROteam in Brussels, to support the firm’s compliance with risk management standards and legal obligations.

Your impact

As aRiskandCompliance Specialist,you’llmake an impact by:

• Supporting ourfirmwide Risk Management functionwithsetting up theEnterprise-WideRisk Assessment andmonitoringoftheKey Risk Indicators of our firm.

• Supporting ourAML Compliance functionwith the design of ourAMLpolicy,procedures,and work instructions.

• Preparing advice based on regulatory guidance for high-riskAMLcases and escalations related to Sanctions and Embargoes.

• Supportingother OFRO colleagueson topics linked withclient and supplier due diligence,screeningand risk assessment.

• Co-steeringour firmwide communications and awareness on various matters of risk and compliance.

• Acting as project managerin special projects linked with all the possible OFRO domains.

About you

We are looking for a (senior) associate with the following profile:

• Amaster's degree in law, economics, criminology or similarand at least two years of work experience.Preferably in AML &KYCand/or Sanctions & Embargoes.

• You have an inquisitive mind and a strong riskand compliancemindset.You understand that we serve the business, within certain boundaries.

• You have a natural curiosity and a general interest innot onlycompliance and ethics, but also our business of providing assurance, tax and legal advice and consulting.Youare looking to advance your skills and experience in these areas.

• You want to understand hownew technologieswork and how they can serve our long-term goals.

• The ability to understand complexlegal frameworks andprocesses,how they fit togetherand can be applied in practice

• You are good at followingproceduresbut you can also think outside theboxand you enjoy helping others.

• A quality-driven mindset;you’realso flexible, proactive, service-mindedand open to change.

• Excellent verbal and written English, together with good knowledge of French and/or Dutch.
