Job Description
Dow Jones is seeking a Risk & Compliance Partners Manager to help grow and strengthen our partner ecosystem across the Risk & Compliance business. You will manage a portfolio of channel and integration partners, deepening strategic relationships, and drive commercial growth through coordinated go-to-market execution.
The ideal candidate combines strong partner-management discipline with commercial judgment, cross-functional leadership, and a solid understanding of risk, compliance, financial crime, and third-party due diligence solutions is a plus. You work closely with Sales, Product, Marketing, Commercial Policy, Legal, Operations, and technical teams to ensure partnerships are productive, scalable, and aligned with business goals. You will report to the Global Channel Partnerships Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage a defined portfolio of Risk & Compliance partners, with accountability for relationship health, growth plans, and day-to-day engagement.
- Build and execute partner business plans designed to expand revenue, improve partner performance, and increase market reach.
- Identify, prioritize, and develop strategic channel opportunities that align with product, regional, and customer growth objectives.
- Lead regular business reviews with partners, track performance against agreed goals, and drive follow-through on commercial and operational actions.
- Coordinate joint go-to-market initiatives with internal stakeholders and partner organizations, including enablement, campaigns, pipeline development, and sales support.
- Work closely with Sales teams to support new opportunities, renewals, expansions, and complex partner-led deals.
- Evaluate new prospective partners, assess strategic fit, and support onboarding activities in collaboration with commercial, legal, and technical stakeholders.
- Help govern partnership frameworks, including engagement models, reporting expectations, commercial alignment, and internal rules of engagement.
- Develop strong knowledge of each partner's business model, target segments, product strengths, geographic footprint, and competitive positioning.
- Surface market feedback and partner insights to Product and Proposition teams to help inform roadmap priorities and packaging opportunities.
- Maintain accurate partner records, opportunity visibility, and reporting disciplines across internal systems and team processes.
- Act as a cross-functional point of coordination to resolve issues, remove blockers, and improve the overall partner experience.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in partner management, channel management, business development, account management, or strategic alliances.
- Experience working in risk, compliance, financial crime, regulatory technology, data, SaaS, or B2B information services.
- Demonstrated success growing partner-led revenue and managing strategic external relationships.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to shape business cases, prioritize opportunities, and support complex deal structures.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence across internal and external groups.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, including experience managing multiple partners and initiatives at once.
- Comfort working across global, matrixed organizations with a high degree of collaboration and accountability.
- Ability to analyse partner performance, identify trends, and translate findings into action plans.
- Proficiency with CRM and pipeline-management tools such as Salesforce, as well as standard business reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with channel partnerships involving data, APIs, screening, due diligence, KYC, AML, sanctions, adverse media, or third-party risk workflows.
- Familiarity with indirect sales models, partner onboarding, certification, governance, and joint solution positioning.
- Experience supporting international partners across multiple regions and market segments.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, law, international affairs, or a related field is a plus.
What Success Looks Like
- Growth in revenue and strategic value across the assigned partner portfolio.
- Strong partner engagement, clearer account planning, and improved execution against shared goals.
- Better coordination across Sales, Product, Marketing, and supporting teams.
- Faster, more consistent partner onboarding and opportunity progression.
- Improved visibility into partner performance, pipeline contribution, and expansion opportunities.
