About the opportunity

Reporting into the ‘Head of Risk & Compliance, Frameworks & Reporting’, this role is responsible for supporting the risk and compliance second line teams in understanding and following the Risk Management Framework, the Compliance Management Framework, and relevant supporting standards, systems and procedures.


You will assist in ensuring continuous improvement of the Risk, Compliance and Policy Frameworks and all related supporting guidance, systems and procedures.

The role also requires collating and drafting relevant risk and compliance information for management, the Board and Board Committee reporting, as well as detailed system administration and data quality monitoring and within our GRC System.

Framework Delivery & Advisory

  • Support the implementation and ongoing compliance with the Group Risk Management Framework, and the Group Compliance Management Framework
  • Provide practical advice, guidance, and support to Line Two Risk and Compliance teams
  • Assist Governance Document Owners and Contacts to meet Policy Governance Framework requirements

Reporting & Insights

  • Coordinate and draft risk and compliance reports for management and Board-level committees
  • Deliver clear, concise, and insightful reporting to support decision-making

Systems & Process Improvement

  • Provide technical support and guidance on the Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) system
  • Enhance frameworks, processes, and supporting materials to improve usability and effectiveness
  • Identify opportunities to streamline risk, compliance, and policy processes

Efficiency & Continuous Improvement

  • Drive efficiency in risk, compliance, and policy activities
  • Support improvements in system capability and user experience to reduce administrative burden

About you 

  • Graduate of Accounting, Finance, Law or commensurate qualifications/ experience
  • Great understanding of risk and controls methodology and approaches
  • Demonstrated experience in report writing, with the ability to interpret and effectively communicate complex regulatory requirements in clear business English
  • Previous experience working within a complex environments with multiple stakeholders
