Role purpose

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Risk & Compliance Analyst to join our team and play a key role in strengthening our governance, risk, and compliance frameworks. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a broad range of activities, partnering with stakeholders to ensure robust controls, strong regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across the business.

What you’ll be responsible for

You’ll support the delivery of Vicinity’s risk and compliance program across key focus areas:

  • Risk & Compliance Frameworks – Maintain and enhance risk and compliance frameworks, including registers, policies, and governance documentation
  • Policy Governance – Ensure policies and procedures remain current, compliant, and aligned with approval standards
  • Regulatory & Compliance Support – Manage regulatory submissions (ASIC, AUSTRAC, Real Estate authorities) and respond to compliance queries
  • Systems Administration – Support the administration and continuous improvement of risk and compliance systems (including C360)
  • Monitoring & Assurance – Conduct control testing and assurance activities to ensure effective risk management practices
  • Reporting & Insights – Analyse incident and compliance data, investigate issues, and deliver clear, actionable reporting and insights

What you’ll bring

You’re someone who thrives in a structured, detail-driven environment and is passionate about continuous improvement. You’ll also have:

  • Experience in risk management, compliance, or audit within a corporate environment
  • Proven ability to analyse incidents, identify trends, and produce high-quality reporting
  • Strong understanding of governance, risk, and compliance principles and systems
  • Knowledge of regulatory obligations and experience working with external regulators
  • Exceptional written communication skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Advanced capability in Microsoft Excel and data analysis, with the ability to turn data into insights

Why this role matters

The key purpose of the Risk & Compliance Analyst is to work with the Risk, Compliance and Insurance team to administer a comprehensive, tailored risk management and compliance framework for Vicinity. The objectives of the role are to mitigate operational and regulatory risks by ensuring the risk and compliance program is embedded into day-to-day operations through regular monitoring, insights and reporting.
