About this Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our Risk, Assurance and Controls (RAC) team, which forms the second line of defence for Vodafone Group. This role focuses on performing quality reviews and end-to-end testing of controls around high-risk policies and processes, ensuring compliance and mitigating potential risks. The position requires strong stakeholder management across geographies and the ability to provide clear, actionable feedback to improve control environments.

What you will do

  • Conduct testing of controls across various high-risk policies and processes.
  • Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of assurance reviews.
  • Act as the primary contact for Policy Champions, providing guidance and feedback.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to strengthen control frameworks.
  • Track and monitor mitigation actions to close gaps effectively.
  • Prepare concise reports for compliance boards and senior leadership.

Who you are

  • Experienced in control testing and quality assurance assignments (preferred over internal audit experience).
  • Strong knowledge of compliance policies and procedures.
  • Skilled in stakeholder management and impactful communication.
  • Ability to handle complex business requirements and adapt to change.
  • Holds a Chartered Accountant qualification (preferred) or equivalent professional auditing/legal certification.
  • Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in compliance and assurance roles.
