Job Title - Risk and AML Analyst
Location - Sunnyvale, CA (Hybrid)
Contract - 1 year + Likely of Extension
Pay rate - $38 - $45/hr on W2
Bilingual - Fluent in English and Mandarin - "Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred as the successful candidate will be required to communicate with business partners in China."
Bachelor degree or above majoring in computer science/engineering, statistics, Mathematics, finance and similar fields; Candidate with experience in AML risk modeling, parameter tuning/optimization and data analytics are preferred.
1-2 years' AML/risk control/fraud management working experience in FI, PI, consulting firms or similar industries; familiar with domestic and international AML regulatory requirements; have the basic concept of money laundering features, motions and patterns; Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist is a plus.
Proficient in data handling coding (e.g. SQL) and at least one professional analytics tools such as SAS, python, R and so on.
4Ability in logic thinking and problem solving; Ability to plan & work independently on required deliverables and deadlines; Ability in independently completing suspicious transaction analysis (a full cycle of identify the problem, determine root cause, recommend plans, implement solutions); Ability in writing risk/model assessment reports.
