Job Description

  • About this role:

    Wells Fargo is seeking a Risk Analytics consultant


    In this role, you will:

  • Participate in less complex analysis and modeling initiatives, and identify opportunity for process production, data reconciliation, and model documentation improvements within Risk Management

  • Review and analyze programing models to extract data, and manipulate databases to provide statistical and financial modeling, and exercise independent judgment to guide new and existing projects with medium risk deliverable.

  • Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Job Expectation:

  • Coordinate and consolidate the production of monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports for more experienced management
  • Present recommendations for resolving data reconciliation, production, and database issues

  • Exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in policy governance, risk projects, and regulatory requests

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, managers, experienced managers, compliance, including various lines of business

  • Requirement collection and preparation of the Business Requirement document.
  • Developing SQL codes as per Business requirement document to create automated reports and proof of concepts for IT team
  • Developing Power BI Dashboards
  • Creating backend scripts for testing and validating the changes.
  • Preparing Master Data sets for different systems and building transformation logics.
  • Perform functional and regression testing for the changes/enhancements.
  • Lead the team deliverables in Agile framework and active usage of JIRA tool to achieve the same.
  • Analyze finance teams’ business strategy, their business processes and develop technical solutions to support their business strategy.
  • Closely work with IT Team and stakeholders for addressing any gaps between existing functionalities and the final solution.
  • Analyze the existing queries for performance enhancement.
  • Handling Ad-hoc queries and Troubleshooting.
  • Essential Qualifications

  • B. Tech (IT)/BSC (CS)/MSC (CS) OR M.B.A degree with 2+ yrs. of relevant experience.
  • Good understanding of SQL programming, Power BI and Alteryx.
  • Excellent Data Analytics skills
  • Proven leadership, team building and cross-functional partnership skills.
  • Strong understanding of the source to target mapping, analyzing & creating transformation logics.
  • Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working in global teams.
  • Proficient in working with complex data models, especially associated with building new products.
  • Advanced desktop skills in MS Office products especially MS Excel and tools like SQL, Power BI & Alteryx
  • Experience in researching and resolving Data flow issues.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively build and maintain partnership with key stakeholders and partners.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to be agile, flexible and adjust plans quickly to meet changing business requirements.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure.
