Job Summary:
As a Rigger, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of heavy equipment and materials on our job sites. You will work closely with our crane operators and other team members to ensure that all rigging operations are carried out in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform rigging operations for lifting, moving and positioning heavy equipment and materials
- Inspect and maintain rigging equipment to ensure safe and efficient use
- Communicate with crane operators and other team members to coordinate rigging operations
- Follow safety procedures and regulations at all times to prevent accidents and injuries
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with general labor tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Rigger in the oil and gas industry
- Valid rigging certification
- Knowledge of rigging techniques and equipment
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
