
Tulane University School of Medicine is seeking a dedicated Rheumatologist physician to join our faculty. This full-time position offers a dynamic mix of clinical care, teaching, and research in a collaborative academic setting.
Clinical Work Sites:
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide outpatient care in rheumatology.
· Participate in consult services and provide care to patients with and without fellows-in training.
· Supervise and mentor fellows-in-training in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
· Provide educational activities- including giving periodic Medical Grand Rounds lectures to faculty, fellows, residents, and students.
· Participate in quarterly evaluations of fellows-in-training.
· Participate in quality initiatives and improvement projects.
· Participate with fellows in research opportunities or self-directed research.
· Comply promptly with billing, documentation, credentialing, and other administrative requirements.
· Engage in service responsibilities, including monthly attendance at faculty meetings and participating in University, School of Medicine, Departmental, or Section committee work.
These responsibilities may vary from time to time and will be assigned by the Section Chief.
