RFP Writing is a department within Global Marketing that writes Requests for Proposals, Requests for Information and Due Diligence Questionnaires. These are comprehensive and complex lists of questions used by prospects and clients to request information on Robeco and its products. Such questionnaires are often the first step in the sales process. The department is also responsible for answering any ad-hoc questions for the institutional and wholesale markets. Furthermore, RFP Writing ensures that basic information concerning Robeco is stored, maintained and made accessible via Robeco’s Intranet platform Content Plaza.

Position

You will be part of our client-driven team, which is the first point of contact for the global sales teams. In this role you will provide dedicated support to the Asia Pacific region’s distribution efforts, while also supporting the global RFP team based in Rotterdam, Netherlands, as appropriate. You will give content-related support for client acquisition and will be responsible for answering RFPs and other information requests for the institutional and wholesale markets.

You manage the whole RFP process from start to finish including follow-up questions from clients and sales teams. You initiate, monitor and manage the process of proactively collating knowledge and information from across the firm and the RFP database. You then use the information gathered to respond to the requirements of the requests you receive and accurately and favorably present Robeco’s investment products, capabilities, and services. You also ensure it is made accessible to others and kept up to date. You will apply your knowledge and experience in advising Sales and helping to advance the sales process to the next stage. You work with Robeco offices in Asia, Australia, Europe, and the US.

In this function you will Interact with many different disciplines of Robeco, including client portfolio management, investment, product management, performance measurement, risk management, finance, marketing, compliance, back office and legal affairs. With this you will continually increase your knowledge of the different facets of asset management and benefit from the opportunity to build an extensive network within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end‑to‑end RFP, RFI and DDQ processes for institutional and wholesale opportunities across the Asia Pacific region.
• Develop clear, accurate and commercially compelling responses that effectively position Robeco's investment capabilities, products and services.
• Contribute to establishing a proposal schedule, key milestones and deliverables to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Manage information flow between investment management, client reporting, sales, risk management and compliance to write high quality responses to requests
• Manage proposal activity and reporting in close collaboration with the Head of RFP and regional stakeholders.
• Contribute to developing new AI capabilities and processes to improve efficiency, including supporting the onboarding of a new AI tool for the RFP team.
• You will make sure that you have sufficient up-to-date knowledge of the products and services Robeco provides.
• You will participate in various team-relevant business development projects

Key Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of RFP experience within asset management, supporting institutional and/or wholesale client acquisition.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to develop clear and commercially compelling responses.
• Good understanding of investment products or the ability to quickly build investment knowledge.
• Strong project-management and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple contributors and deadlines.
• Experience with RFP content-management tools; exposure to AI-enabled proposal management is an advantage.
• Able to work independently and take ownership of regional priorities while collaborating effectively with global teams.
• Comfortable operating as Robeco's primary RFP specialist in Asia Pacific, demonstrating initiative and strong self-management.
• Fluent in English; additional Asia-Pacific language skills are a plus.
