We’re passionate about our work, we believe there is always a better way, and we’re looking for people like you.

Ready to reach your potential? It’s time to look at Taylor.

Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is seeking an RFP Print Buying and Pricing Analyst to help shape competitive, accurate, and profitable responses for complex customer opportunities. In this highly collaborative role, you will serve as the central point of coordination for print sourcing, vendor quote management, market pricing analysis, and customer-facing pricing support across RFI, RFP, and RFQ opportunities. You will partner with sales, sourcing, category management, finance, operations, and RFP teams to evaluate specifications, identify the right supplier options, assess market competitiveness, and develop clear pricing recommendations that influence business decisions.

Work Authorization: To be considered for the Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Leads print buying and sourcing activities for qualified RFP opportunities, including requesting vendor quotes, comparing suppliers, developing pricing workbooks, and preparing customer-facing pricing recommendations aligned with customer specifications and margin strategy.
  • Interprets print, promotional, label, kitting, distribution, and related production specifications to determine appropriate buying paths, supplier fit and required cost inputs.
  • Analyzes customer requirements, historical pricing, supplier quotes, and available market data to evaluate competitiveness, identify pricing gaps, and recommend adjustments or sourcing alternatives.
  • Works directly with sourcing, sales, category management, finance, operations, distribution, and other subject matter experts to validate assumptions, obtain vendor input, and support data-driven pricing decisions.
  • Participates in RFP kickoff, sourcing, costing, and pricing review meetings; provides print buying guidance, supplier feedback, and market competitiveness insights.
  • Evaluates total landed cost, including print production, materials, freight, warehousing, pick-and-pack, fulfillment, finance charges, and other relevant cost drivers, to identify pricing risks and opportunities.
  • Applies margin guidance to develop accurate, complete costing and pricing workbooks; documents supplier-selection rationale, key assumptions, and pricing risks; and delivers materials to the RFP team within established timelines.
  • Maintains pricing files, vendor quote documentation, sourcing assumptions, and profitability analysis support materials; expedites information to stakeholders as required throughout the RFP process.
  • Supports ISO quality reviews and audits for print RFP processes by maintaining complete, accurate, and traceable sourcing and pricing documentation.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

You Must Have:

  • 5+ years in print buying, print procurement, sourcing, estimating, costing, pricing analysis, or print management services.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, finance, operations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Advanced skill using spreadsheets and reporting tools to analyze supplier quotes, historical spend, market benchmarks, pricing scenarios, and profitability.
  • Strong understanding of print, promotional, label, packaging, and related production processes, including materials, equipment capabilities, production rates, and supplier cost drivers.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, including the ability to build and maintain detailed pricing workbooks and communicate findings clearly.

We Would Also Prefer:

  • Use of Salesforce reports, dashboards, opportunity data, pricing fields, or related analytics to evaluate RFP trends and market competitiveness.
  • Comparing vendor capabilities, negotiating or challenging supplier pricing, and documenting supplier selection rationale for complex customer opportunities.
  • Communicate complex sourcing and pricing recommendations clearly and professionally to technical and nontechnical stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
  • Manage multiple RFP timelines, vendor inputs, pricing assumptions, and stakeholder requests while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Apply strong critical-thinking, decision-making, and analytical problem-solving skills to identify pricing risks, evaluate alternatives, and recommend a course of action.
  • Work independently, exercise sound judgment, and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
