Our Supply Chain and Logistics team mission is to provide top notch service to our stores and purchasing teams- contributing to the goal to make Grocery Outlet the first choice for bargain-minded customers while touching lives for the better. Our team oversees the successful movement of products from our vendors to our stores and is self-motivated, passionate, and dedicated.

About The Role:
Working closely with the Warehouse Supervisor, this position is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the Receiving Department. Daily responsibilities to include, but are not limited to, data entry, processing and receiving documentation, maintaining accurate records and other receiving related activities. This role reports to the RFC Shift Manager.

Responsibilities Include:

• Scheduling and monitoring inbound deliveries.
• Receiving BOLs from all delivery drivers, verifying that the quantities match the Receiving Document.
• Creating and scanning receiving documents.
• Checking and recording the quantity of the merchandise for conformity to purchase orders and specifications.
• Logging and tracking all problems relating to receiving, contacting all parties involved to ensure each is aware of the problem.
• Reconciling purchase orders.
• Administering store invoices.
• Accurately inputting a high volume of data on various spreadsheets concerning incoming and outgoing merchandise in a timely manner.
• Recording and reporting shortages and discrepancies.
• Communicates efficiently and concisely over the phone, in person and through e-mail to coordinate returns, rejections and credits.
• Ensures friendly, efficient and professional customer service.

About The Pay:

• Base Salary Range: $19.00 Hourly
• 401(k) Profit Sharing.

• Final compensation will be determined based upon experience and skills and may vary based on location.

About You:

• 1+ years of Receiver experience in warehouse environment or equivalent.
• Ability to deliver information in a clear and concise manner to fellow team members and customers.
• Excellent data entry skills.
• Ability to effectively use Microsoft Excel.
• Strong customer service skills.
• High attention to detail and thoroughness in approach with all paperwork.
• Ability to work well with others, self-motivated and capable of working independently.
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
